This blog, by Simon I'Anson, is about cycling: the equipment, races, people, culture and generally about getting out on the 'pushy'.
The name is a reference to those moments, when racing, where you are riding at your absolute limit, grovelling in the gutter and all you can do is count the sprockets on the back wheel of the rider in front to maintain concentration whilst trying not to get dropped.
