SeracTech are revolutionising the historically analogue world of planning. They harvest planning data from local authorities across the UK then make this available through an intuitive interface to their customers.

Lots of collaborative sketching with the founder to refine the scope and functionality for the v1 launch.

As a response to customer interviews, we made many rapid sketches with the client to explore how we could solve the well-defined problem. This helped us to focus on a core product proposition for launch

Wireframing and prototyping were particularly important as the budget for the v1 product was fixed. We wanted to ensure we provided a viable and valuable product for customers from day 1.

By creating quick sketch wireframes we could interrogate each feature and trade off against cost.

I developed wireframes and clickable prototypes to refine the product proposition and to resolve interaction design challenges.

For the majority of their customers, the platform pays for itself within three months.

Full design specs were handed over to the client to ensure continuity with the permanent team as they were hired post-launch.
